Google My Business (GMB) is a free and valuable tool offered by Google, which provides important information about your business to potential customers. It’s a listing which allows you to effectively manage your online presence and ultimately drive more traffic to your website, as well as customers through the doors of your business.
A GMB listing will display the following points of basic info about your business:
1. Business Name and Logo
2. Business Category (eg. “Pizza Takeaway”)
3. Address & Map
4. Trading Hours
5. Contact Phone Number

Your GMB listing will be the first thing a customer comes across when searching for your business in Google, which means if you want to be easily found in a local search it’s essential that your business has a listing.
The back end of your listing also offers some fantastic insights such as how customers find you online, what search terms they’re using as well as where most of your searches are coming from and when.
